The Global Development programme aims to strengthen relationships with donors and potential supporters outside the UK.

Imperial is an international university. Thirty-five percent of our students are from overseas. Around a third of our alumni live outside the UK. Our researchers collaborate with partners in 140 countries around the world.

The global development programme was created in 2015 to strengthen the College’s links with this global community of alumni and friends. Our aim is to inspire potential supporters about the opportunities for philanthropic giving at Imperial.

We do this by travelling to meet with alumni and friends in their home country, through a world-wide programme of networking events and by connecting potential supporters with College leaders.

If you’re travelling, or if you have an international visitor, and would like to engage with the question of philanthropy please get in touch.
